Since 2005, Our Community Shred Day has allowed Township residents and businesses to have documents securely and professionally destroyed. Along with Rapid Shred in Auburn Hills and with grant help from the Four County Community Foundation, the police department knows that proper document destruction helps provide another level of protection for our citizens against identity theft and financial fraud. Shredding documents also helps the environment, as the documents and paper bags are recycled and do not end up in landfills.
We will be holding our 2026 Annual Community Shred Day at River Bends Park (5700 22 Mile) from 8am to 12pm on October 17, 2026.
