Bureaus

The Shelby Township Police Department has a current staff of more than 110 people serving our community. Our primary Officer assignments are on road patrol, but we also have a number of specialty units and additional assignments available for officers to participate in. Along with our investigative units and service units, we have officers serving in multi-jurisdictional consortiums and task forces such as our partnership with the Drug Enforcement Administration (D.E.A.).
