Chaplain

Police chaplains serve law enforcement personnel and their families. Chaplains are appointed by the Chief of Police to assist Shelby Township Police Department officers and the community by providing spiritual guidance, counseling and comfort in times of crisis. The police chaplain is on call at all times to assist in cases where his counsel and advice may be helpful. A chaplain is also available to the families of Officers and to anyone associated with the Shelby Township Police Department who may need support.
