School Resource Officers (SRO)

We pride ourselves on the collaborative relationship we share with our schools and parents. The Shelby Township Police Department has assigned two specially trained Officers to our high schools in the capacity of School Resource Officer. These Officers work full time in Eisenhower High School and Utica High School throughout the school year and serve as members of the Community Services Unit during the summer. They help maintain open lines of communication between the schools, students and parents, and law enforcement.
